Data Sources

The AI Workforce Impact Tracker™ combines clearly labeled public labor-market data with voluntary, aggregated worker-reported information. Official statistics are attributed to their source and dated. Worker-reported data is never presented as government data.

Private API token architecture

  • • All provider credentials are stored only in Base44 secure server-side secrets — never in client-side code, browser-visible JavaScript, URLs, or user-accessible database fields.
  • • External API requests are made through server-side backend functions only. The browser calls the app backend; the backend authenticates privately with the provider.
  • • A reusable server-side data-provider layer means tokens can be rotated without changing the UI.
  • • Admins see connection status (Connected, Authentication Required, Error, Last Successful Sync) — never the credential itself.
  • • Separate development/test and production credentials are supported.
  • • No API token is created or exposed in this demo. Credentials are managed as secure-secret references only.
